Instructions

  1. Make the Homemade Hummus: In a small food processor, add the drained chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, salt, and water. Slowly drizzle the olive oil into the food processor while blending. After you’ve added the olive oil, continue blending for about a minute, or until it’s nice and smooth. Blend in a bit more for a thinner consistency if you wish. Cover and store in the fridge for up to 4 days. Drizzle Heraclea Chili Infused Olive Oil over before serving, if you wish!
  2. Prepare the Tzatziki: In a small bowl, add the yogurt, cucumber, garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Stir until well combined. Adjust seasonings based on your preferences. Cover and store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  3. Blend the Olive Tapenade: In a small food processor, add the olives, capers, garlic, parsley, anchovy paste, and lemon juice. Pulse a couple of times to break up the ingredients. Now, drizzle the olive oil into the mixture while blending to your desired consistency. You can leave it chunky or continue to blend it into a paste (I prefer the latter)!
  4. Gather and prepare the remaining ingredients. Get all the ingredients out, slice the mandarins and cucumbers, gather nuts, dried fruits, dips, etc. Grab your board, small spoons, and plates. Assemble your Mediterranean charcuterie board (see my photos for inspo – video coming soon!). I like to garnish the board with sprigs of fresh herbs like rosemary and thyme. I hope you enjoy the recipe!

  • SUGGESTIONS FOR SERVING SIZES: For meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, bread, etc. for a party of 10. This is just a general guide, so feel free to adjust the quantities based on your party size (or how much you know everyone eats)!

Meats: Plan for about 2-3 ounces of cured meats per person. For 10 people, that’s 20-30 ounces (around 1.25-2 pounds) of meats like salami and prosciutto.

Cheeses: Serve around 1-2 ounces of cheese per person. For 10 people, you’ll need about 10-20 ounces of cheese like feta and manchego.

Breads: Plan for about 3-4 slices of pieces per person. For 10 people, aim for about 30-40 pieces of pita bread and/or crostini.

Crackers: About 5-6 crackers per person, so you’ll need about 50-60 crackers.

Fresh Fruits: Plan for about 1/3 cup of fresh fruit per person. For 10 people, that’s around 3.5 cups total.

Fresh Vegetables: Around 1/3 cup (3.5 cups total) of sliced vegetables, too.

Dried Fruits: About 1/4 to 1/3 cups per person.

Nuts: 1/4 to 1/3 cups of assorted nuts per person will be plenty.
