15 Quick & Easy Air Fryer Appetizer Recipes

FAVORITE THINGS LIST – Product Reviews Below

  • KitchenAid Stand Mixer – I wouldn’t be able to live without my KitchenAid. I use it for everything; chocolate chip cookies, homemade pasta, freshly ground meat, or simply mixing things together to save my arm some energy. It’s such a versatile appliance!
    • Attachments: Pasta Deluxe Set | Meat Grinder | Slicer/Shredder

  • Cuisinart Hand Blender – Hand blenders allow you to blend in the same pot you’re using to prepare your recipe. Blending hot soups directly on a stovetop rather than transferring it to a blender, yes please! It’s not only easier, but a lot safer too.

  • Ninja BL480D Nutri Personal Countertop Blender – Perfect for smoothies, but you can blend anything in here, hot, or cold! These blades are sharp, and they blend everything so well. I’ve had one for a long time and it’s still going strong!

  • SodaStream – This isn’t essential for everyone, but if you’re addicted to seltzer/soda water like me, it is! By using a SodaStream, you can save 730 plastic bottles in a year on average, along with saving tons of money.
  • Ooni Pizza Oven – Being from New York, I love (and NEED) good pizza. Unfortunately, we haven’t found any great pizza in our new area. Ooni Pizza Ovens saves the day! They have 12-inch and 16-inch pizza ovens, with three different fuel options: wood fired, gas-powered, or a multi-fuel option (wood and/or charcoal, and gas, all in one pizza-makin’ machine). Ooni also sells pizza peels, a pizza stone, an infrared thermometer, and more. Making homemade pizza dough has become such a fun process for us; however, you can buy store-bought pizza dough and have seriously amazing pizza in as little as sixty seconds. I love my Ooni!!! 🍕

  • Pit Barrel Cooker – The only smoker/grill you need! We’ve had this smoker for years and use it almost every weekend, year-round. Pork butt, ribs, whole chicken, bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, and smoked dips are a handful of our favorite things to make on the Pit Barrel; and it all comes out so perfect and delicious! 🍗

  • Amber Plastic Bottles with Black Trigger Sprayers – Our meat spritzing bottles! We fill them with apple cider vinegar (which tenderizes meat) and store them away until we’re ready to smoke something on the Pit Barrel Cooker. These bottles have many other uses as well!
  • Pots & Pans – I’ve had this Cuisinart cookware set for a few years and they’re still in amazing condition, even after being used every day. The pots and pans are durable and oven safe up to 550 degrees F (288 degrees C). I couldn’t ask for a better cookware set, especially for the affordable price!

  • Pizza Stone – From my all-time favorite pizza oven company, Ooni!

  • Cast Iron – I’ve had my Lodge Cast Iron Skillet for years and have no complaints; it’s my best friend in the kitchen, plus it’s super affordable. If you properly care for your cast iron, it will last forever and only get better (well-seasoned) with time!

  • Dutch Oven – Another affordable Lodge product, the enameled cast iron Dutch oven. A Dutch oven is so versatile. You can make soups, stuffed cabbage rolls, and even bread! My husband got this for me as a birthday gift a couple of years ago and I’ve used it a million times since.

  • Sheet Baking Pan – These are larger than your average sheet baking pans, which I love! These stainless-steel pans are non-toxic (no aluminum or chemical coating) heavy duty, and dishwasher safe. I’m glad I found these!

  • Small Baking Pan Set – I’ll admit, I didn’t realize the set was a smaller one until it came in the mail, but I’m happy to have it now! Great for small batch baking and roasting vegetables.

  • Cooling Racks – For cooling allll the Perfect Soft and Chew Chocolate Chip Cookies! These are durable and have a perfectly spaced grid pattern to allow for airflow without anything falling through.

  • Springform Pan – I made my first cheesecake in this and it came out perfectly!
  • Stone Bowls (Dolsot) – Perfect for my Bibimbap – Korean Mixed Rice Bowl recipe.
  • Boxed Grater – Love this four-sided Cuisinart stainless steel grater; used to slice, grate, or shred.

  • Knife Sharpener – Kota Japan 12 in. Diamond Carbon Steel Professional Knife Sharpener Rod. This knife sharpener gets the job done. It’s also sold at a very reasonable price!

  • Measuring Cups and Spoons Set – Stainless-steel and durable with engraved measurements so you don’t have to worry about them becoming worn or washed off. It also comes with a bonus magnetic measurement conversion chart. I have it on the fridge and reference it often!

  • Oil and Vinegar Cruet – Love these glass oil dispensers! They’re simple yet beautiful.
    • Funnels – Perfect for filling the oil dispensers.

  • Glass Food Storage Containers – I searched and searched for a durable set with several assorted sizes at a reasonable price, and this set is what I landed on! I’m happy with the quality of these glass food storage containers. They are BPA free, airtight, leak proof, odor proof, and stain resistant. *UPDATE –

  • Fine Mesh Strainers – Wire sieve with insulated handle. You can use these colanders for sifting flour, straining rice, pasta, and more. I don’t recommend putting them in the dishwasher as they tend to rust.

  • Mason Jars – I use mason jars not only for canning and pickling, but also to easily shake up sauces and dressings, or even as drinking cups.
  • Meat Church Seasonings – Our absolute favorite seasoning set to use when grilling (or cooking anything, really). They’re so flavorful!
  • Flavor Bible – The essential guide to culinary creativity, based on the wisdom of America’s most imaginative chefs. This book inspires me to create a composed dish using the correct flavor combinations. I just love it and reference it all the time!

  • Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat – Mastering the elements of good cooking. This book (and the documentary on Netflix) is AMAZING! So informative, fun, and down to earth. The things you will learn are indispensable.

  • Will Write for Food – The complete guide to writing cookbooks, blogs, reviews, memoir, and more. This book taught me so much. Love!!!

  • On Food and Cooking: The Science and Lore of the Kitchen – The bible which food lovers and professional chefs worldwide turn to for an understanding of where our foods come from, what exactly they’re made of, and how cooking transforms them into something new and delicious.

  • Athletic Greens (AG1) – If I had to choose one vitamin/supplement to use every day forever, AG1 would be it. Athletic Greens works to fill nutrient gaps and promote gut health. One daily serving delivers a potent blend of nine healthy supplements: multivitamins, minerals, probiotics, adaptogens and more. They all work together for optimal health! Use my exclusive referral link to receive a FREE one-year supply of Vitamin D3+K2 and 5 free travel packs of AG1 with your purchase.

  • Chagaccino Superfood Coffee Boost Chagaccino is a mushroom-based mocha that transforms my morning coffee into a sugar-free, vegan, keto-friendly latte. It’s anti-aging and immunity boosting, helps relieve stress, elevates endurance, and benefits cognitive function. I even have my mushroom-hating husband hooked! OBSESSED!
    • Current Chagaccino Promotions and Discounts: Use code HEAVENLYSPICED10 for 10% off! | Free shipping on orders of two Chagaccino boxes or more.

  • Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides – I add this to water (along with AG1) every single day. There are also a few flavored collagen peptide options available, along with other products such as gummies, creamer, flavored collagen water, bone broth, protein bars, and more! Collagen supports healthy hair, nails, skin, bones, and joints; plus, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C are added to this collagen peptide powder for additional wellness benefits. When I run out of collagen and don’t take it for a few days, I totally notice the difference in my skin and energy, especially when I’m working out. Luckily, they have a subscription service available, and I now receive it every 4 weeks so I will never run out!
  • Bambu Earth – Clean and chemical free, Bambu Earth is truly the best skincare brand out there, especially for someone with sensitive skin (like me). These are the only products I’ve found that don’t cause my face to become irritated, red, and dry. I can’t express this enough, if you have dry skin or just love a good moisturizer: try the Intense Hydration Cactus Concentrate. Your life will be changed. Not only for the effects it has on your skin, but also for the amazing smell that I wish I could just bathe in for the rest of my life. I also love their Makeup/Dirt Cleansing Oil, Petitgrain Moisturizer, and Intense Hydration Facial Mist! Bambu Earth’s real, simple, effective ingredients are ethically produced, wild harvested, and fairly traded. I think you’ll love anything you purchase from Bambu Earth!
  • InstacartInstacart is a LIFESAVER. I use this grocery delivery service more times a week than I care to admit. I love grocery shopping from my couch and avoiding crowded grocery stores, and it’s also easier to spot deals when they’re in bold red letters right in your nifty app. Highly recommend if you have kids, a busy life, or just hate going to the store like me! Chances are, tons of your local stores (Target, Walgreens, Safeway, Publix, Costco, etc.) are on this platform. Try it – your time is valuable!

  • These are an interesting list of things to get for the household. I am considering getting the hand blender. I have used one before, but do not own one. Thanks for sharing. Appreciate the links.

    • I’m glad you enjoyed my Favorite Things List, Kevin! I love that hand blender. I’ve had it for several years and can confirm it is high quality. Enjoy!
